There has been the most amazing rush of words for the past 5 days. I'm already past 16,000!
And because I plotted, I don't have to wonder what to write each day, which would normally be a little trial and error before I get to a scene that's flowing. And I'm going in order!
Golly, maybe I've been doing it wrong all this time?
Don't misinterpret me. The stuff I've written before is wonderful stuff. I'm in love with my YA novel (who's taking a two-month vaca) in many, many ways and miss it dearly. But the time it took to get to the place it's in was... a while. (Sure, work, giving birth and motherhood certainly played an important part.)
This may be the honeymoon. In a week, I'll post the hangover.
